Virginia Lynn (Roach) Rowett, 61 of North Adams, MA died on Monday, June 29, 2020 at North Adams Commons. She was born in North Adams, MA on September 22, 1958, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Leone Frances (Alderman) Roach. She attended schools in North Adams including Mark Hopkins School and graduated from Drury High School with the Class of 1976. She was employed at Sprague Electric and then as a payroll clerk for the Willowood Nursing Homes in North Adams and Williamstown. She was last employed for the North Adams School System. Virginia was a member of the North Adams Eagles.
Survivors include her two children; Aaron Rowett and Kayla Rowett both of Adams as well as three grandchildren; Briannah, Jaxan and Raelynn. She also leaves her two sisters; Donna Sawtelle of Dalton and Cynthia Lore of North Adams and former husband Michael Rowett and former life partner David Richard. She was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Baker.
Graveside services will take place in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
