Our sincerest sympathies go out to the family. Sherry was a close and dear friend of ours. We just found out. The years we had together motorcycling, camping, and house sleepovers with her husband, were of the finest you could ask for. Every member of my family would get a card for all our occasions. She never forgot once. It was my daughter's birthday today,10/15/2020 that we realized she didn't send her a card. We are devastated, to say the least. Sherry, we will miss you terribly. Till we met again my sweet Sherry. R.I.P

Years ago while still in high school my cousin April introduced me to Sherry. We dated for a while but we learned we were better at being close friends than we were dating. We have been close friends sense. I now live in Illinois not far from her brother and sister.
We would talk on the phone maybe once a month and send text messages back and forth. I always wondered why she wasn’t answering my text messages. She would send me home printed cards for every holiday that came around. Last one was for July 4th.
I knew something wasn’t right and my cousin Tami asked me if I’ve heard from Sherry because she hasn’t seen her out for her walk for a while. So I decided to dig into the internet.
She was a good friend and my heart is broken for her loss and her family’s loss.
