Obituary for Peggy-Anne OLeskiewicz

It is with great sadness that Peggy-Anne (Deeb) Oleskiewicz 73, of Williamstown died suddenly Friday October 9, 2020 at her home. She was born in Troy, NY. on January 1, 1947 a daughter of the late Gordon and Amy (Smith) Deeb. She graduated from the former St. Joseph High School in North Adams and also attended Bennington College. Peggy was a proud owner and operator with her brother Gordon of Pedrin's Dairy Bar in North Adams. She was a very generous and caring person who volunteered for many local organizations in the area to help provide holiday meals to the public. Peggy enjoyed crafts, sewing, bowling, winning money at the casinos, traveling and her late night Lifetime movies. Peggy will be forever remembered by her husband Allan Oleskiewicz, her 2 daughters Melissa McCauley (Charles McCauley) and Courtney Oleskiewicz. Two grandchildren, Ashley Reo (Alex Reo), Christopher McCauley (Corie Noel). Peggy also leaves behind her great-grandson Sean Patrick McCauley; great-grandson Reo expected January 2021, her brother Gordon Deeb (Susan Deeb) and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Dea Lynn Deeb who died in 1995. Peggy is now happily resting with her late daughter Jennifer Miller-Davis.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Peggy-Anne Oleskiewicz will be celebrated Thursday October 15, 2020 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will take place at a later date. Calling Hours at the Church will be on Thursday from 9:30AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the St. Patrick' Church Food Pantry through the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA.
