Obituary for John Charles "Jack" Kilmer

John Charles "Jack" Kilmer, 90, of Pittsfield, MA died on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Pittsfield on March 5, 1930 a son of the late Raymond and Madeline (Pillsbury) Kilmer. Jack attended schools in Pittsfield. He was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict service in the 1st Calvary of the US Army obtaining the rank of Sgt. First Class. He was employed as the District Representative for Western Massachusetts Electric Company in Pittsfield, MA.
Mr. Kilmer was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church in Pittsfield. He was an active community member, especially with the Pittsfield Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine C. (Salzarulo) Kilmer; they were married in 1952. He leaves his sister Kathleen (Frank) Stottle of Pittsfield and his brother, Lawrence Kilmer of AZ. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Paul, Robert and Raymond Kilmer.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A private graveside service, with full military honors, for John Kilmer will take place in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
