Obituary for Maria A. Stracuzzi (Scimone)
Maria A. (Scimone) Stracuzzi, 91 of Pittsfield, MA died Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington.
She was born in Taormina, Italy on June 3, 1929, a daughter of Pancrazio and Carmela (D'Agostino) Scimone. She was educated in Italy.
Maria was last employed as a seamstress at Canyon Ranch. She was the widow of George F. Stracuzzi who died in 1978. Survivors include her son in law- Bruce I. Collingwood of Pittsfield, MA and two grandsons including John Collingwood and Noah Collingwood. She also leaves her brother, Pippo Ballerina in Germany. Her daughter, Concettina M. "Connie" Collingwood died in 2017 and her brother Cheecho Scimone is also deceased.
