Tom, Janice, James, and Wayne, It has been decades since I last saw your mom but I have distinct and warm memories of her. Tom would bring me to your house where your mother would always make me feel welcome and on occasion I would be the beneficiary of her cooking. Our parents have all passed over the years so we understand your sense of loss and share your grief. My wife, Karen, and I extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your families. Tom, I hope that life is treating you well and you are healthy and enjoying yourself. Karen and I think of you often. I've even told our kids (3 grown kids, 4 grandchildren) about some of our exploits. Our best to all of you in this difficult time. George & Karen Olsen, Great Falls, VA (

Janice, Jim and Tom,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I know that my parents and your parents were great friends and they had a lot of good times visiting with each other in their later years. My kids even remember when they visited Fairhope on their many visits south. I know you will miss her, I still think about my mom every day and she passed in 2008. Hope all your families are doing well, I will be sending in a Mass card to St. Michaels College for them to say a mass for her. Please send me your email addresses as my mom had thousands of pictures and I have most of them separated out on my computer by families and will forward them on to you.
