Obituary for George Boyer Quadrozzi

George Boyer Quadrozzi, 79 of Pittsfield, MA died Saturday January 9, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Pittsfield, MA on July 9, 1941 a son of George J. and Ruth (Boyer) Quadrozzi. He attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph's High School with the class of 1959, where he was the captain of the baseball team. He was also a member of the class of 1963 at Albany Business College.
George was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Army. He later served in the Mass. National Guard in Pittsfield and Adams for a total of 28 years.
George worked at General Electric, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin for a total of 30 years until his retirement.
He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. George was a member of the American Legion Post #160 of Adams. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. Most of all, George enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Karen (Edda) Quadrozzi, whom he married on July 10, 1965 in All Souls Church and two sons- Rand J. Quadrozzi of Dalton, MA and Gregg G. Quadrozzi of Pittsfield. He also leaves three grandchildren and his brother- Douglas J. (Holly) Quadrozzi of Orange City, FL. His sister, Jane Theroux is deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Graveside Service with military honors for George Quadrozzi will be held Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Private calling hours will be held at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children in care of the funeral home.
