Obituary for Anthony L. "Tony" Lavigne

Anthony L. Lavigne, 54, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 after bravely battling cancer for 3 months. Anthony, known as Tony, was born in North Adams, MA on September 20, 1966 and graduated from Drury High School. He went on to work at Berkmatics, K & M Motors as an auto detailer and more recently for many years up until his death, at Cascade School Supplies as a warehouse worker.

Tony was a quiet man who had a most caring and compassionate heart. If you were sad he'd find a way to cheer you up. If you needed help, he'd be there to pitch in. Football was his favorite sport. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and collected many of their items. He was especially proud of his 1970 Boston Patriots signed football, passed down to him from his Great Uncle Edward “Soapy” Trisorio.

Tony is survived by his loving Aunt Linda Rossi and Uncle Steven Kavee of Briarcliff Manor and cousin Susanna Kavee of Boston, MA, Aunt Marianne (Rosse) Schiefer and cousin Sara Timcak of Stevens Point, WI, his mother Joyce Klein and half-siblings Diana Saylor, Thomas Payne and Joyce Stafford in Kentucky. He is predeceased by his father Ralph L. Lavigne, paternal Grandmother Antoinette Rosse, Grandfather Theodore Rosse, Great Aunt Jenny Petrovice, Great Uncles Michael Trisorio and Edward “Soapy” Trisorio, and Great Cousin Antoinette Caccavo.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 8 at 2:00 PM in Southview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anthony's name to Pop Cares, PO Box 482, Williamstown, MA 01267 - popcares.org. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com
