“Fair winds and Following sea’s, may fill your sails, carrying you to the high ground of our Sacred Valhalla,” my Brother.....4 of us original “HATS,” still carrying on the traditions of “Lethal Lima” Company and the camaraderie, fellowship and family, that we shared for so many years. You are missed but will always be present in our ranks!

My heart was broken 💔 when I received the word of Marks passing, as he was one of my Junior DI’s for 3 Recruit Platoons. Rough as nails and a no nonsense Marine, whose skills as a Drill instructor, were second to none. His wit and humour filled our Duty Hut, with boisterous laughter, that broke the stress and tension, training our Recruits for Vietnam. Every Series he was sought by Platoon Commanders to be on their team. He was not only a “Brother” but family as well. So many stories with Mark, so many memories, and since the last gathering, so few of us left. Just saddens me and no words to express the sorrow that I feel now!
Ooooorah and Semper Fi my Brother, now cradled in God’s Loving Arms, on the high ground of our Sacred Valhalla. Mimi
