Julio Enrique Vega,75 formerly of Holyoke,MA. died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at his home on Brooklyn Street in North Adams, MA.
He was born in Salinas Puerto Rico on April 21, 1946 a son of Catalino Vega and Maria (Rivera) Cintron. Julio was employed with PVTA of Springfield, MA. He loved riding his motorcycle and was a loyal member of the Latin American Motorcycle Association of Holyoke, MA.
Julio was predeceased by his parents Maria and Catalino, a brother Ray Vega. He was also predeceased by his son Darryl James Vega.
Survivors include his three loving daughters Julie Vega of San Antonio, TX, Trina Cayo of North Adams and Kelly Robles of South Yarmouth, MA. he also leaves his wife Kathleen Vega of North Adams, brothers Raul Vega of Holyoke, MA., several siblings, nieces, nephews, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Julio Vega Life will take place on Saturday November 27, 2021 at 4 p.m. at the LAMA's Clubhouse, 120 Maple St. Holyoke, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the LAMA's Holyoke Chapter, 120 Maple St. Holyoke, MA. 01040, in his memory or through the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. 01247.
