Obituary for Ralph Everett Bailey Jr.
Ralph Everett Bailey Jr, 84 of Lanesboro, MA died on Saturday December 25, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Pittsfield, MA on September 10, 1937, a son of Ralph Everett Bailey and Ella (Crandell) Bailey. He attended Lanesboro schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School.
Ralph was last employed by Modern Mold & Tool where he worked for many years until his retirement as assistant manager. He was first employed as an automobile mechanic.
Ralph was a member of the Lanesboro Sportsman's Club and enjoyed hunting and fly-fishing, tying his own flies. He also enjoyed working on automobiles. He and his late wife liked walking in the woods especially with their grandchildren.
His wife was Emma A. (Maggioli) Bailey who died on May 10, 2004. They were married on February 11, 1961 in St. Anthony of Padua Church in North Adams. Survivors include one daughter-Diane M. Bailey of Lanesboro and two sons- John J. Bailey and Steven R. Bailey, both of Cheshire, MA. He also leaves three grandchildren- Trevor Bailey, Scott Bailey and Tawnia M. Bailey and his beloved dog, Holly.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Ralph E. Bailey Jr. will be Friday December 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours for close friends and family only will be Thursday from 4-6 PM.
