Obituary for Florence Rita "Polly" Roberts-Dalmaso (O'Neill)

Florence Rita "Polly" (O'Neill) Roberts-Dalmaso, 93 of Hancock, MA died Friday April 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in North Adams, MA on August 23, 1928, a daughter of Thomas and Hazel (Estes) O'Neill. She attended local schools.
Polly was last employed by Williams College where she worked from 1974 until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church in South Williamstown where she served on the Board of Deacons and was a proud member of the Dorcus Society. She was a founding member of the Hancock Fire Sirens. Polly enjoyed bowling and square dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter, all of whom she would light up around.
She was the widow of Leon H. Roberts Jr. who she married on June 18, 1949 and died on July 4, 1974 and William E. Dalmaso who she married on May 20, 1989 and died on November 7, 2007. Survivors include two sons- Dennis L. (Cathy) Roberts of Schodack, NY and John L. (Jane) Roberts of Hancock, MA and one daughter- Julie M. (Arthur) Williams of Hancock, MA. She also leaves five grandchildren including Keith Roberts, Jacob Roberts, Michael Williams, Sarah Pikula, and Jamieson Williams and their spouses; seven great grandchildren including Brandon, Luke, Haley, Ayden, Parker, Arthur and Addison; a great great granddaughter- Oakleigh as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her 14 brothers and sisters.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Polly Roberts-Dalmaso will be Friday April 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Second Congregational Church in South Williamstown. Burial will follow in Hancock Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to join Polly’s family at the Church for refreshments and fellowship. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Thursday from 5-7 PM, Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock Volunteer Fire Dept or the Second Congregational Church in care of the funeral home.
