Obituary for Anthony Patrick "Tony" Asci Jr.

Anthony P. "Tony" Asci Jr., 82 of Estero, FL passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2022 peacefully at his home with his children by his side.
Born in Pittsfield, MA on June 19, 1939, he was the son of the late Anthony P. "Tony" and Lucy F. (Meledeo) Asci. Tony graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1958 and was a former communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He served in the US Coast Guard before moving to Miami, FL in 1961 where he was employed by Royal Plating Co. During the 1960's he led a rock & roll band around the Miami area and was later hired at Eastern Airlines in the early 1970's where he worked for 20 years as a mechanic.
In 2002 he married the former Patricia Mancivalano who died on November 6, 2020.
He continued singing through the years and did some acting and singing in his community theatre group. Tony enjoyed riding his Harley with a small group of friends and playing poker with friends and neighbors.
Survivors include two daughters- Tina Manton of Cumming, GA and Gina Asci of Pembroke Pines, FL and two sons- Anthony P. Asci III of Lake Worth, FL and Pasqual Asci of Pembroke Pines, FL. He also leaves 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Tony Asci will be held Saturday June 25, 2022 at 9:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA with Rev. Christopher Fedoryshyn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
