Obituary for Maureen Ann Henault (O'Brien)
Maureen Ann (O'Brien) Henault, 73 of Bluffton, SC died Thursday April 21, 2022 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL after a long courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
She was born in Pittsfield, MA on May 10, 1948 a daughter of the late Francis O'Brien and Frances (Papas) O'Brien. She attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1966.
Maureen was first employed by the former Schafer-Eaton in Pittsfield and was later employed at Crane & Co. in Dalton where she worked for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church in Pittsfield. Maureen enjoyed quilting and was a charter member of Maye River Quilters. She also enjoyed shopping, playing cards and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond R. Henault whom she married on August 2, 1969 and two daughters- Renee´ (Shawn) Cantwell of Cummington, MA and Michelle (Neal) Daries of Enfield, CT. She also leaves four grandchildren including Kali, Matthew, Ryan and Delaney; two sisters including Kathleen Basile of Richmond, MA and Eileen Knight of Lewiston, ME; two brothers- Thomas O'Brien of Granby, MA and Martin O'Brien of Greenfield, MA and several nieces and nephews. She treasured many dear friends from near and far. She was predeceased by one sister and two brothers including Kristine Ward, Daniel O'Brien and Neil O'Brien.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Maureen Henault will be Friday May 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West main St. North Adams, MA.
