Concetta M. (Arace) Frieri, 90, of Pittsfield, MA died on Monday October 24, 2022 at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in Cairano, Province of Avellino, Italy on February 24, 1932, the daughter of Pasquale and Maria Teresa (Soranno) Arace. Concetta came to Pittsfield in 1969 and worked at Sheaffer Eaton Paper Company for 17 years until her retirement in 1992.
Concetta was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. Concetta was the widow of Nicola S. Frieri who died on December 1, 1992. They were married on April 19, 1952.
Concetta leaves her daughter, Maria Pannisco and her husband Pasquale of Pittsfield, MA; a son, Leone Frieri and his wife Kathleen of Adams, MA; 4 grandchildren, Leone S. Pannisco, Claudio N Pannisco and his wife Renee, Nicholas Frieri and Rebecca Frieri and her husband Steve and two great grandchildren, Sandro & Stella Pannisco. She was predeceased by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Concetta Frieri will be on Friday October 28, 2022 at 8:15 AM from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
