Obituary for Clarice Ann "Chris" Reynolds LaCroix (Meehan)

Clarice Ann “Chris” Meehan Reynolds LaCroix, 87 of North Adams died at home on Sunday, November 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 26, 1935 in North Adams, a daughter of George and Irene (Boulerice) Meehan. Raised in North Adams, she attended Notre Dame Grammar School and graduated with the Class of 1954 from St. Joseph’s High School. She was a communicant of St. John Bosco in Stamford, VT.
Clarice was employed in the food industry for many years and was last employed by Harrison Vending in Hoosick Falls, NY. She had been previously employed at HACA and Food Closet in Hoosick Falls.
Clarice married her first husband Robert D. Reynolds on November 11, 1954 and together they lovingly raised ten children. Robert predeceased her on November 22, 1980. She then met and married Bernard P. LaCroix on June 30, 1985. He predeceased her on June 6, 2012.
Clarice took great enjoyment in sewing and crocheting. She also regularly assisted her husband Bernard with the Knights of Columbus breakfasts. She was an avid New York Yankee fan and most recently was able to attend a game in their new stadium.
Clarice is survived by her five daughters; Christine (Bruce) Robare, Laurie (Michael) Kuzia , Kathy (Rodney) Eilers , Cheryl (Anthony) Randall , and Pamela (Wallace) Chenail and five sons; Robert D. Reynolds, Jr. (partner Natalie) , Kenneth Reynolds (partner Rosita Serrano) , Bradley Reynolds (partner Linda Ziemba) , Nathan Reynolds and Glenn (Anne) Reynolds. In addition, she leaves five stepsons; Norman (Kimberly) LaCroix , Paul LaCroix, Richard (Linda) LaCroix , Thomas LaCroix and Michael (Anne) LaCroix . She also leaves behind 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Philip, Ronald, Bernard, Richard Meehan, sister Geraldine Haring and daughter-in-law Linda Reynolds.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Clarice will be celebrated on Tuesday November 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Calling hours will be on Monday November 14, 022 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home – WEST CHAPEL – 521 West Main Street.
