Obituary for Matthew Dale Swanson
Matthew Dale Swanson, 68 of Readsboro died on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at home. He was born in North Adams, MA on August 14, 1954 a son of the late John David & Dawn Pauline (Bressette) Swanson.
Matthew attended McCann Technical High School and then was the proud owner of MS Carpentry and also was a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building, camping, playing cards, snowmobiling, four wheeling and anything outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy J. (Luscier) Swanson, his children, Amanda Swanson of Amherst and Noah Swanson of Readsboro. He also leaves a grandson, Kyle Adams and sisters and brothers, Darlene Charron (Robert), Mary Ellen Pellerin (James), Tina Fiata, Zinny Swanson (Fran), Bruce “Beaver” Swanson (Linda), mother in law Nancy Lafrance, and brother in law John Luscier of North Adams . He was predeceased by a sister Doreen Swanson and many nieces, nephews and friends.
