Obituary for Shelley Sue Winters (Soules)
Shelley Winters, 62, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away on April 7, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 21, 1960, in Pittsfield, MA, to Norman Soules Sr. and Patricia Curtin Soules.
Shelley was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Her funny and playful nature brought joy to everyone around her. She enjoyed crafting, jigsaw puzzles, reading and playing Board games. Shelley was an avid Red Sox fan and loved watching the games with her husband Michael. Her Yorkshire terrier was named after Mookie Betts from the Red Sox team. She also loved game shows and crime shows.
Shelley graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School and worked at Devine Mercy of Marion Fathers in Stockbridge, MA for 30 years.
Shelley is survived by her husband Michael Winters, her son Jameel Winters and partner Chrystal Sullivan her sister Patty Rodriguez and husband Vicente Rodriguez, her sister Kathy Sharp, her sister Cindy McCormick and partner Wayne Sonnenberg, her brother Tom (Nubs) Soules, her brother Nick Soules and partner Christine Dupuis many nieces and nephews, and her beloved Yorkshire terrier named Mookie. Shelley was preceded in death by her father Norman Soules Sr., her mother Patricia Curtin Soules, her sister Wendy Love and her husband Mason Love, and her sister Terry Throne and her husband Butch Throne.
There will be no calling hours, and a private celebration of her life with immediate family only will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Homes, 5 Elm St, Pittsfield, MA.
