Nancy Jean (Beer) Tower, 86 of Adams, MA died Sunday November 19, 2017 at North Adams Commons.
She was born in the Farnams Section of Cheshire, MA on March 31, 1931 daughter of Harry and Estelle (Phillips) Beer. She moved to North Adams at an early age and attended Drury High School.
Before her marriage, Nancy worked at Gaevert's, Clark Biscuit Co. and Wall-Streeter Shoe Co., but she was primarily a homemaker and loving wife to her husband. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Adams. Nancy enjoyed square dancing and tap dancing and she loved to cook.
Survivors include her husband, Harold L. Tower whom she married on April 3, 1954 in the First Baptist Church and two sisters including Marion Beer of Williamstown and Dorothy Bosley of North Adams and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by three brothers- Ralph Robert and Norman Beer.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Nancy Tower will be Monday November 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. A calling hour will be Monday morning from 10-11 at the funeral home.
