Dear John, David and Family... I came upon Kathy's obituary by accident... I had recently mentioned your mother to my brother, and when I googled her name not long after, I found the information about Kathy's recent passing. I doubt you would remember me; your grandmother Allie and my grandmother Annie were sisters, and my brother and I once spent part of one summer with your family in North Adams 60 years ago. Although various members of my family visited North Adams after that, I never was able to again, and I spent almost my entire life after that in Hawai'i. I remember so much little details of that summer, but most of all your mom, and I remember Kathy clearly although of course I didn't get to know her well. How wonderful to hear that she had a long and happy life, and that your mom was able to motivate so much progress for Kathy and others through her tireless energy. How proud your must be of them both. Best wishes and sincerest condolence on your loss of these dear family members and warm thoughts from your cousins the Brays and Quirks from Rhode Island and New York and here and there and everywhere nowadays..

My thoughts and prayers are with the Horans. I had wonderful memories of the time I spent with Kathy.
