Stephen Anthony Filiault of North Adams, MA passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 after a long illness. Born in North Adams on June 27, 1947 he was the son of the late George H. Filiault and Virginia (LePage) Filiault. Steve was predeceased by his wife JoAnn (Sjoblom) Filiault on November 18, 1983 and his son Joshua Filiault on April 4, 2007.

Steve graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1965 where he was an outstanding athlete and played on the basketball team. He spent many of his adult years in California, New York and Michigan before returning to North Adams in 2004.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Hope Bourdon, several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition, Steve leaves many friends locally as well as in Michigan.
